Y6 Virtual Open Evening
Welcome to the Hummersknott Academy website. As you will know this year, due to Covid restrictions, we are unable to host our annual Open Evening in school. This is traditionally a time where you and your child/ren can come into school, meet the staff and students and view the wide educational provision we offer. There would also be the opportunity to have questions answered and really get a feel for the school so that you can begin to decide if, as we hope you do decide to, it is the school you would like your child to attend from September 2021.
Instead of a physical meeting this year, all schools are posting 'virtual ' tours on their web site. On Wednesday 23rd September our presentation will be available to download. In the meantime below are some links to the Local Authority letter around school admissions, our school prospectus and also images of life at Hummersknott showing the wide range of subjects, activities, trips and visits that our children experience during their time at the school.
