What we Offer
At Hummersknott we pride ourselves on providing a full and varied careers programme. Enabling pupils to make fully, informed choices, every step of the way. We are working towards achieving the eight Gatsby benchmarks, identified as the core dimensions of good careers and enterprise provision in schools:

We work closely with our partners in HE and FE and utilise the support offered by TVCA to identify opportunities for pupils to meet employers and the workplaces.
What we offer:
- Independent and impartial careers advice, with a Careers advisor, from year 8 to year 11 (this could be individual or group meetings.)
- Life skills Lessons in year 9, 10 &11- with topics focused around careers.
- Life Skills day- every year group will have at least 1 day, dedicated to careers.
- Form Mentor time- all years have topics which centre on careers.
- Work Experience for all year 10 pupils.
