Last week was biscuit week in Food and Nutrition. Students across all year groups improved their skills and finishing techniques with a Jubilee biscuit challenge. There were some fabulous results! Winners were awarded a Jubilee medal for their efforts. Sadly no ‘Hollywood handshake’ available but thankfully not one ‘soggy bottom’!
Well done to the year 7 netball team who competed in the town tournament on Thursday night. They were fantastic, improving each game. Overall 4th out of 7 teams.
Read MoreThe Y8 netball team won their recent tournament. Wow... what a team!! The girls were absolutely amazing, they won all games out of 5 and only conceded 2 goals during the tournament. They won all their games by at least 13 goals and they were only 10 minute games. That is impressive stuff!!!

The scavenger hunt of book titles was particularly popular with staff and students alike! Staff also dressed up as book characters to embrace the World Book Day fun!

In recent French lessons, Y7 students completed a project about crepes and their importance in French culture. They learned all of the ingredients used to make a crepe and studied a recipe in French. They were then set a challenge to make their own crepe and either produce a video or a storyboard outlining how they went about it.
